Where does Kranichfeld lie ?
Kranichfeld is a sustained and idyllically situated small town in charming nature and has many historical emblems, loading this one into a varied holiday region with versatile relaxation offers.
The town Kranichfeld on the river Ilm lie on the edge of the "middle Ilmtals" between the two castles top castle and low castle situated. In Town you are find the famous "Baumbachhaus".
The falconry which is opened from May until October is on the low castle. These are the most popular end flight destinations of our guests and also our inhabitants.
In the famous Baumbachhaus is our tourism board. In there you can get information to events catch up with himself.
In our holiday apartment lie a multitude leaflets to destinations of the outing otherwise.
One can take a bath and lend boats at the reservoir "Stausee Hohenfelden" in summer. Otherwise the Avenida thermal spring is there, climbing woods and a small vivarium.
In Kranichfeld you find restaurants and café specialities with thuringian specials, private baker and butcher's shop, to this purchase possibilities for small need.
Here are supermarkets: Rewe, Diska and Tee gut. The town has a filling station.
Gives physiotherapy and pharmacies a group practice, dentists, for the physical welfare.
Distances to popular destinations of the outing:
Erfurt, Rudolstadt, Saalfeld and Ilmenau well by bus connections within reach. Weimar and Jena are anxious to reach a little station of ours out.
Otherwise one can run into the surrounding towns by car very well and you come through our beautiful Thuringian landscape simultaneously, too.
